The Muela Albar-18H sports knife is a knife from the barbecue line, designed primarily for knife lovers who appreciate knives with premium materials, such as deer antler, used in the handle.
More than just a tool for cutting meat, a good barbecue knife is essential for ensuring precision cutting, which affects the texture and tenderness of the meat. In terms of size, the Muela Albar-18H has a blade length of 180 mm and a handle length of 125 mm, making it an excellent knife for handling various types of meat.
The handle of the Muela Albar-18H sports knife is made of deer antler, an incredibly detailed yet durable material. Deer antler falls off in the winter and grows back in the spring, so there is no cruelty in using this material, which has long been used in the manufacture of hand knives.
Its blade is made of X50CrMoV15 “MOVA” (1.4116), a classic Muela knife material, which is an excellent combination of molybdenum and vanadium, forming a steel with excellent hardness and corrosion resistance. The blade has a false edge, a rounded edge and a double hand guard. It comes with a leather sheath.
