The Böker Plus Caracal Folder by Boris Manasherov has been in high demand since its release and is now available in various versions. The Caracal Folder 42 does without the liner lock of the other versions and is instead equipped with a slipjoint. Its special feature, however, is the locking pin, which can be used to secure the Caracal against accidental closure when needed.
This locking pin is located at the rear of the handle in the spacer and can optionally be inserted sideways into an opening in the handle, so the blade remains firm and secure. Spring-loaded ball bearings keep the pin securely anchored in both positions. The other features are the same as on the previous Caracal: solid steel liners with pleasantly contoured G10 scales, a D2 blade, and a convertible deep-carry clip (tip-up/l-r) create a familiar impression.
