The CobraTec Koa Button Automatic CTKOABLKTNS is a compact side-opening automatic EDC knife that combines fast push-button deployment, lightweight construction, and a clean modern design. It belongs to the smaller to mid-sized automatics in the CobraTec lineup, focused on everyday carry, simple operation, and reliable performance.

The Koa model uses a classic side button automatic mechanism that allows instant blade deployment with a single press of the button. The construction is designed to be mechanically simple, durable, and suitable for regular EDC use with minimal maintenance demands.

The dominant feature of the knife is a blade approximately 8.9 cm (3.5") long in a drop point shape. This shape offers versatile use—from common EDC tasks to lighter-duty work. It provides good material penetration, cutting precision, and a sufficiently strong tip.

As soon as you pick up the knife, it feels compact, light, and very easy to control. The Koa is designed as a practical EDC tool that is easy to carry and quick to respond in use.

The blade is made from D2 tool steel, known for its high hardness and very good edge retention. In practice, it offers long edge life but requires basic care against corrosion.
