CobraTec Large FS-3 Carbon Fiber Automatic Knife

The CobraTec Large FS-3 Carbon Fiber LCFFS-3WNS automatic knife is a full-size OTF model that combines a precise Wharncliffe blade, a lightweight carbon fiber handle, and a reliable automatic mechanism for everyday and tactical use.

The FS-3 is one of CobraTec’s standout OTF knives, and in the Large version it offers full-size dimensions suitable even for more demanding use. The Carbon Fiber variant brings a modern look, lower weight, and still high structural strength.

The dominant feature of the knife is the Wharncliffe blade with a length of approximately 8–9 cm (approx. 3.25–3.5″), which is ideal for precise, controlled cuts. The straight cutting edge provides maximum efficiency for detailed work and EDC tasks.

As soon as you take the knife in hand, its balance between lightness and strength immediately stands out. The carbon fiber handle looks modern while also ensuring a secure and stable grip.

The blade is made from D2 tool steel, which offers good hardness, long edge retention, and solid wear resistance. This material is commonly used in quality EDC knives.

Operation is ensured by an OTF double-action mechanism, which allows fast deployment and retraction of the blade with one hand using a sliding button. The mechanism is designed for smooth and reliable operation.

The design includes a pocket clip for secure carry and a glass breaker, which expands the knife’s functionality in emergency situations.
