CobraTec Large FS-3 Carbon Fiber Automatic Knife

The CobraTec Large FS-3 Carbon Fiber (LCFFS-3TNS) is one of the more robust OTF knives from CobraTec, known for its combination of full-size dimensions, bold design, and a carbon fiber handle that gives it a premium look as well as better balance compared to classic aluminum versions.

The dominant feature of the knife is a blade measuring approximately 8.5–9 cm, most commonly in a drop point or dagger shape depending on the specific configuration. This profile offers versatile use—from everyday cutting to more demanding work tasks—while retaining a sufficiently strong tip.

As soon as you take the knife in hand, it immediately feels robust and full-sized. Compared to smaller OTF models, it offers a significantly more secure grip and greater stability during use, while still maintaining a reasonable weight thanks to the carbon fiber.

The blade is made from D2 tool steel, valued for its high hardness, good edge retention, and wear resistance. It is a commonly used material in this category, suitable for EDC and tactical use when maintained regularly.
