The CobraTec OTF Scalpel CTOTFSCPBLK automatic knife is a specialized ultra-compact OTF model designed for fine and precise work, combining extremely low weight, a simple automatic mechanism, and a minimalist design intended for everyday carry.

The OTF Scalpel is one of the smallest and lightest OTF knives in the CobraTec lineup, with a focus on maximum compactness, precision, and quick access. Compared to standard EDC knives, it is conceived more as a fine working tool than a universal tactical knife.

The defining feature of this model is its very small blade measuring approximately 5–6 cm (approx. 2″), designed for precise and detailed tasks. The drop point profile in this size provides control for delicate cutting and working in confined spaces.

As soon as you pick up the knife, its extremely compact construction stands out immediately. The OTF Scalpel is designed to take up minimal pocket space and be instantly ready for one-handed use.

The blade is made from D2 steel, which offers good hardness, decent edge retention, and wear resistance. In this category of small tools, sharpness and easy maintenance are especially important.

Operation is handled by a classic OTF mechanism using a sliding button, allowing quick blade deployment and retraction. The mechanism is simplified for the lowest possible weight and maximum reliability in such a small format.
