The CobraTec Stinger CTSTRBLK automatic knife is a modern OTF model designed for everyday carry, combining compact construction, a reliable automatic mechanism, and durable materials in a practical and discreet package.

The Stinger belongs to the simpler, function-focused OTF knives from CobraTec, with an emphasis on speed, ease of use, and everyday practicality. Compared to more complex Hidden Release designs, it uses a classic and straightforward mechanism.

The dominant feature of this model is its blade measuring approximately 7.5–8 cm (approx. 3″), designed as a versatile working profile. It offers a good balance between precision and cutting performance, suitable for common EDC tasks.

As soon as you pick it up, its light and compact construction stands out. The Stinger is designed to be easy to carry, quick to deploy, and suitable for situations where immediate readiness matters.

The blade is made from D2 steel, which provides high hardness, good edge retention, and solid wear resistance. This material is suitable for everyday use, but it does require basic care due to its lower corrosion resistance.

Operation is handled by a side sliding button that activates the OTF mechanism. It allows fast blade deployment and retraction with one hand, ensuring simple and intuitive handling.

The construction also includes a pocket clip for convenient carry and quick access in everyday situations.
