As soon as you pick up the Microtech Dirac Delta® D/E OTF 227-10APNC – Natural Clear Aluminum / Apocalyptic M390, you immediately feel the combination of technical precision and raw aesthetics. This model is a larger and more powerful version of Dirac’s first side-shift DAC OTF platform, now in an attractive Natural Clear Aluminum finish with Apocalyptic blade finish.

🔥 Character and philosophy

The Dirac Delta® is a modern interpretation of the tactical OTF knife with an emphasis on ergonomics and speed. The side-mounted, recessed slider allows for more natural thumb support and more comfortable handling compared to traditional top sliders.

The model operates in D/A (Double Action) mode – the blade is extended and retracted with one movement of the thumb. The mechanism is extremely fast, but at the same time requires controlled pressure to overcome spring resistance, which contributes to safety.

The overall length of about 235 mm makes it a full-featured tactical tool that remains well-carried as an EDC.

🗡️ Blade – D/E Dagger with Apocalyptic finish

The D/E (Double Edge) Dagger blade is symmetrically ground on both sides with a distinctive central rib for increased strength. Long longitudinal grooves increase structural stability and accentuate the aggressive appearance.

The Apocalyptic finish gives the blade a raw, “battle-worn” look while helping to mask minor signs of use.
