📜 Temperance model history
The original Temperance was designed by Sal Glesser, Spyderco’s founder, as a universal knife with an emphasis on handle ergonomics and maximum cutting control. The new Temperance Lightweight version builds on that foundation, but thanks to lightweight FRN material, new CPM-CruWear steel, and a shaped blade, it delivers modern performance in the spirit of the original.
