The Ultratech has undoubtedly been Microtech’s flagship among the leading auto knives since its launch in 1999. It recently underwent an aesthetic overhaul and the reviews are nothing but positive. While the dimensions of the Ultratech remain unchanged, the handle has undergone a “tri-grip” overhaul that offers exponentially more grip security. Other improvements include triangular hardware, a redesigned thumb slider, and a glass breaker that now features a molded ball bearing for a more comfortable but still functional user experience. Each Microtech OTF knife has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms that improve overall operational functionality and reliability. This model, the 121-11AP, has a black handle with full standard hardware and an integrated glass breaker function, along with a drop point blade that is partially serrated, in an apocalyptic stonewash finish.
