Our story begins in Vietnam, where members of America’s top secret special operations force – known as MACV – SOG<\/strong> – carried a unique secret knife into the jungle on covert missions. A few years later, in 1986, this knife inspired a young designer named Spencer Frazer to found SOG<\/strong> Specialty Knives. Its mission: to reproduce the original SOG<\/strong> Bowie knife and pay tribute to the special operations unit that created it.
