Matt Degnan designed the Steller for Kansept as a take on the box cutter. He made it into a frame lock flipper with a minimalist flipper tab. The Steller features a 2.91″ Wharncliffe blade made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel and comfortable yet sturdy titanium handles.<\/p>\n
Being born and raised in Southern California, Matt split his summers between the beaches of Orange County and the mountains of Yosemite. It was there (in Yosemite) during a fishing trip with his father, he was given his first pocket knife. Many years later, he discovered the custom knife world and began designing and building handmade knives in his garage.<\/p>\n
