Closing Knife ADV Tactical<\/strong> Barlow Slipjoint N690.<\/p>\n

The Barlow is a slip joint knife by Andre De Villiers with a very dagger shaped profile. The slim trigger blade has a long nail for easy opening and a half-stop for smooth closing. It’s a nice three inches long, which is the maximum allowed for both locking and non-locking knives in many locations, which shows that ADV knows exactly what it’s doing. The handle has a smooth teardrop shape with an extended finger guard area leading to the blade, making this knife very easy to index. It is made of reinforced stainless steel with different scale materials and brass insert and pins. It feels rock solid and the contouring makes it easy to slip in and out of your pocket. You might even forget it’s a slipjoint because it feels so solid in use and doesn’t look like your typical non-locking folder.<\/p>\n

The Barlow is a slender slipjoint folder from Andre De Villiers with a very dagger-esque profile. The slim drop point blade has a long nail nick for easy opening and a half-stop safety for worry-free closing. It’s a nice three-inch length which is the maximum allowable in many localities for both locking and non-locking blades, showing ADV knows exactly what he’s doing. The handle is a smooth teardrop shape with a flared finger guard area leading to the blade that makes this knife very easy to index. It’s made of bolstered stainless steel with various handle scale materials and a brass shield inlay and pins. It feels rock-solid and the contouring allows it to slide in and out of the pocket with ease. You may even forget this is a slipjoint as it just feels so solid during use and doesn’t look like your typical non-locking folder. The ADV Barlow is an impressive all-around knife and that’s really all there is to it.<\/p>\n
