It has undergone several modifications over the years, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. This version has an improved molded handle with a textured thumb slide for a more positive purchase. The Ultratech spring remains in the “rest” position at all times, except when stretched. This ensures that the compressed spring does not tire, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will perform effectively. It can take many different forms; it can be finished with a standard machined aluminum plate or a piece of carbon fiber. Ultratech’s light weight, one-handed opening and closing, slim design, and scalpel-sharp blade make it a unique knife available only through Microtech. This knife has proven time and time again that it can withstand any obstacle. Only time will tell what the next step will be for the Ultratech line.
