An improved knurled hinge mechanism holds the blade open during use and is backed with a gentle index finger to prevent accidental closing. Molded glass fiber reinforced nylon (FRN) scales and strategically placed back and spine grooves provide comfortable ergonomics that allow this knife to perform far beyond its size.
