Increased capacity over the years has allowed Extrema Ratio to expand its operations. As part of this effort, the company moved into a new 600 square meter facility in 2004 to meet market demand, and the company quickly became one of the leading manufacturers in the country.

Production based on modern high technology is combined with traditional craftsmanship and the result is the pinnacle of this synthesis. The Extrema Ratio project team uses the 3D system to design new models and create prototypes. Each hunting tactical pocket knife is then carefully inspected and subsequently tested in the field. At this point, the best materials are selected for durability, function and beauty. Each kitchen, tactical or military knife is then hand assembled and hand finished and inspected by Extrema Ratio’s team of craftsmen.

All knives are made of N690 cobalt stainless steel, a steel from a small factory in Austria that is often used in the manufacture of surgical instruments. This steel along with their tempering methods create a steel with great strength, flexibility with the ability to maintain a sharp edge. The handles supplied on the fixed knife knives are made of a Forprene polymer handle, which ensures a very secure and comfortable grip even under wet stress. The folding range of tactical or military knives are sheathed in a very strong anti-corrosion alloy and the best materials are used throughout to ensure reliability and longevity.

Extrema Ratio military knives are consistently developed with the direct involvement of the end user.

Extrema Ratio produces a large selection of tough hunting and pocket knives suitable for use in the most demanding environments, making them a great choice for a survival knife or backup weapon. To achieve all of the above, a long-term collaboration project between the Facoltà di Scienze Motorie (PG) and the Extrema Ration Company has been established.

Through tasks related to solving technical problems, finding an efficient and ergonomic design and an optimal operating parameter, the Facoltà di Scienze Motorie (PG) partnership provides innovation opportunities throughout the production process.
