In Albacete, a country with a long tradition of scissors, the cutlery factory, now known as MIGUEL NIETO SL, begins its journey at the beginning of the 20th century. century Innocent Nieto.

Around 1957, Miguel Nieto and his brother team up with their father, Innocent, in a small factory that they build with great effort step by step.

They produced knives without their own brand for the most prestigious knife shops of the time. During the weekend, they sold surplus production at agricultural fairs.

Later, the two brothers decided to continue separately and in 1980, Miguel Nieto Guillén founded with his sons, who acquired a factory of 400 m2, 6 workers and sold their own models and the brand “M. NIETO “.

In 1987, MIGUEL NIETO SL moved to its current location in Pol Campollano, where the factory has an infrastructure of 3000 m2 and employs 40 people to produce sports knives.

The fundamental basis of this new phase is the achievement of reliable quality that combines technological progress with traditional traditions.

Currently, our company is still working to obtain a product 100% made in Spain, affordable and of the highest quality. Knives and crafts are within everyone’s reach.

80% of each of our pieces is produced in a traditional way and the remaining 20% ​​in a semi-artisanal form.
